Just wanted to take a moment to mention that I've been working very hard on the site recently. I added the "rest" (there are still new ones to add) of the original Playstation games to the site bringing the total from somewhere near 50 to almost 200. I did this by omitting box art and screenshots which I'll be adding a bit at a time.

I've already started filling some in starting from the top and working my way down the alphabet. I also got my hands on some screenshots that were not on the old site so I've been adding those in out of order. I just added some screens for Gate Keepers, Sorcerer Hunters - Mahjong Special, and Armored Trooper Votoms - Lightning Slash.

Once I got the PSX games entered I started right away on PSP games which went from a handful to 61! I've been slowly adding box art and screenshots to these too. It disheartens me a little to think of the sheer number of PS2 games that remain to be added but I feel very relieved and excited to have a solid foundation of PSX and PSP games underneath me. As I fill these listings in with visual content I'll start to add more staff reviews and content to really make the site a valuable resource beyond just a database of anime based games. The RPG artbooks turned anime, "Queen's Blade" comes to the PSP (Japanese) this December 17th. This game features 19 beautiful female warriors including a PSP game exclusive character. The game is a full-blown simulation RPG. There is an armor destruction system that lets you target various pieces of armor and leave these beautiful ladies with a less than modest appearance. The game includes original anime style animation and many event scenes. (information from video) Note: The video also features a sweet song by Yousei Teikoku called "One".

There is a special "Gekitou" (fierce fighting) edition that comes with a figure of the game's exclusive character named "Cute" and a voice CD in an attractive art box. This is available for pre-order now! This will sell out quickly so you'll want to pick this up soon. The regular edition is also available.

Fate: Unlimited Codes

Capcom is bringing this weapon style vs. fighter based on Type-Moon's Fate series to the PSP in the US at an unspecified date. I'm not a big fan of vs. fighters, but this looks like a great 3D fighter for PSP.

Astro Boy the Video Game

D3 brings this cool shooter/action title to PSP and PS2 at an unspecified date. Looks like a pretty 3D title with Mega Man style side-scrolling and SHMP style gameplay mixed into one.

Unbound Saga

This PSP beat-em-up from Vogster Entertainment is not based on anime but it has a superhero comic book style that is pretty cool. Release date TBA.
