Site News - How are we doing? A summary of our progress and goals

Hello all! Thank you so much for visiting PSXAnimeList.com. As you may know, I recently re-launched this site on December 1st of 2008 and I have big plans for this site in the future.

So far the site has been completely re-done to include a content-rich front page with the latest news, reviews, screenshots, videos and more! There is a great game release calendar that will show archived game listings and posts as well as anticipated release dates for upcoming games. There is also a guided search to help you find the content in the database by various means and a poll which I'm currently planning to run weekly.

If things seem to be starting off slowly please bear with me. I'm still running this site largely on my own, with a little help from friends (thanks btw!). This month I've focused mostly on adding game listings so cool things like news updates, new polls, and original reviews and new features have been neglected.

screenshot from Gundam Musou 2Some new information is available on Bandai NAMCO games Co., Ltd's tactical action game "Gundam Musou 2" coming shortly to PS2 and PS3 on 12-18-2008.

Three new elements are being added to the gameplay; a terminal, a subpilot, and a parts system. The terminal available in mission mode appartently allows you to receive emails of various types such as mission information, mails from other pilots, and ones containing skills. Though there is no information regarding the specific MS, there is the option of a playable character sub-pilot. Apparently there will be 7 available. As for parts, they are obtainable in mission mode. When you've assembled enough parts you can create a new MS.

Kato Haruaki's manga of a female high school student's lively daily life comes to PS2 as "Hyakko - Jack-of-all-trades Case File". The popular manga which features the slapstick drama of the troublemaker Torako Kageyama is also being made into a television anime. The game is scheduled to be released on February 26th of 2009. The price is undecided.

The player can advance the game via choices made with any of the 4 girls, Torako, Tatsuki, Suzume, and Ayumi via the "viewpoint change mode" and the player can solve a problem by watching the same event in the viewpoint of another character. It features completely full voice acting including the popular Fumiko Orikasa and Aya Hirano of the animated version.
